We built Agentica because the discipline didn't exist yet.

Agentica is North America's first firm dedicated to agentic AI investment strategy and risk — a discipline at the intersection of AI capital decisioning, regulatory expertise, and technical engineering.

Why We Exist

Autonomous AI is reshaping how organisations invest, operate, and take on risk. Boards are being asked to approve AI strategies they cannot fully evaluate. Investors are diligencing AI-exposed targets with tools built for a different era. Strategy consultancies, cybersecurity firms, generalist IT consultancies, and general compliance frameworks were not designed to answer where to deploy AI, how to de-risk the spend, or how to govern systems that act on their own at machine speed.

Agentica exists to close that gap — building the discipline, the methodology, and the operational infrastructure of agentic AI investment strategy and risk. We are the first firm in Canada to offer an integrated practice covering investment strategy, continuous compliance, technical control infrastructure, and incident response — for organisations deploying AI, and for investors diligencing AI-exposed targets.

The team

Vincent Hallee

Vincent Hallee

Principal, Agentic Risk Strategy & Architecture

Blockchains are the foundation of trust and control in the agentic economy. The gap between real capacity and leaders' intention is the most dangerous thing in war, business, and technology. Sixteen years in military intelligence and operations — including three deployments — followed by a decade at the frontier of blockchain and AI built one core conviction: organisations fail because they didn't build the right capability architecture to face the challenge at hand.

Mathieu Ouellet

Mathieu Ouellet

Principal, Agentic Risk Strategy & Evaluation

Over 20 years identifying, transferring, and managing the most complex risks in the market at Willis Towers Watson and Aon Risk Solutions — serving national and international clients across demanding industrial sectors. A specialist in conventional and alternative risk transfer, Mathieu brings to Agentica a discipline forged in the field: the kind built on files where every governance gap has a real, measurable, documented cost. His role today: helping organisations regain control of their AI agents before the risk controls them.

Our positioning. A new discipline.

We are not a strategy consultancy without AI depth. We are not a cybersecurity firm. We are not a generalist IT consultancy. We are the founders of a new discipline — at the intersection of AI investment strategy, operational risk, and technical engineering.

Not a strategy consultancy without AI depth

Big strategy firms produce AI roadmaps; few have the technical depth to stress-test the underlying technology, the data provenance, or the agentic-specific risks. Agentica combines capital-allocation reasoning with hands-on AI engineering in the same team.

Not a cybersecurity firm

Traditional cybersecurity frameworks were built to protect deterministic systems. AI agents learn, decide, and act autonomously — and call for an approach designed for that reality.

Not a generalist IT consultancy

Generalist IT consultants deliver policies and slide decks. We deliver investment strategy, compliance frameworks, technical control infrastructure, and incident response that plug directly into your operations.

Founders of a new discipline

Agentic AI investment strategy and risk sits at the intersection of capital decisioning, AI engineering, regulatory expertise, and operational risk. We built the methodology the category demanded.
